Introducing the devkitPro patreon.

Recently it's been becoming more obvious that we're going to have to bring in some more regular income in order to continue providing the tools and libraries you've come to know and love. To tell the truth it's been rather a while since one off donations have even approached covering the costs assoc...

Re: Draw with floats and not s16, draw GX array with one function call.

The triangle example probably isn't the best one to be building off tbh, I'm not sure it actually works properly - it was one of the first experiments and hasn't really been touched in a long time. We have many examples under https://github.com/devkitPro/gamecube-examples/tree/master/graphics/gx whi...

Re: gcube emulator missing?

Do you think it would be possible in the next version of devkitPro to attempt to execute dolphin-emu command instead of the gcube command to avoid misunderstandings? devkitPro is an organisation. devkitPro does not have versions. We produce and maintain a whole bunch of tools & libraries for...

Re: gcube emulator missing?

You're wasting your time. Gcube just about worked well enough to run some old framebuffer based homebrew from the early days of gamecube homebrew, it won't run modern homebrew without some serious work. It still being in the template Makefile is an oversight, sorry. Dolphin works fine, I use it regu...

Re: Anyone have a pacman download?

  1. This is a false positive. Again :( Please report it to Malwarebytes.
  2. You can reinstall msys2 and use pacman from there just fine, the only thing we modify is the pacman.conf file. See wiki/devkitPro_pacman#Customising_Exist ... an_Install.

Re: Path responsibility

Users have quite often requested that tools like dslink, 3dslink etc be available on the path which was obviously an issue when we still them in the same folder as the compiler. Packaging everything with pacman let us move them to a separate folder & that path was added to devkit-env for convenience...

Re: Issues moving from DevKit Advance to devkitARM

Firstly please note that devkitPro is an organisation not a toolchain. You're attempting to move to devkitARM, not devkitPro - I've edited the post accordingly. Hi all, currently having some issues with trying to run a ROM compiled by devkitARM, however I'm not compiling things in the manner as reco...

Re: Please set CTRULIB in your environment: export CTRULIB=<path to ctrulib>".

gl3ds is not supported. It will be much less painful to use citro3d or citro2d.

Make sure you're using officially supported installation - wiki/devkitPro_pacman then check the example code under /opt/devkitpro/examples/3ds.
