Users have quite often requested that tools like dslink, 3dslink etc be available on the path which was obviously an issue when we still them in the same folder as the compiler. Packaging everything with pacman let us move them to a separate folder & that path was added to devkit-env for convenience...

gl3ds is not supported. It will be much less painful to use citro3d or citro2d.

Make sure you're using officially supported installation - wiki/devkitPro_pacman then check the example code under /opt/devkitpro/examples/3ds.

Is there a good reason to avoid samples? They can easily be generated on the fly - it's much easier than modulating PSG volume.

Pretty sure the Korg DS-10 uses samples.

I do hate to say this but it works for me. The most likely cause of your issue is that you haven't copied the data files to your switch.
