Hi I have experienced the same problem. r26 + libfat-1.0.4 works fine (unfortunately I lost the r26 toolchain). r30 + libfat-1.0.4 works also fine but much slower. r30 + libfat >= 1.0.5 (including the latest svn version) always reposts an initialization error. Hi, it's me again. Somehow libfat doesn't like me... About a year after I finished my last GBA project I wanted to change some small parts of the code. Therefore I updated the toolchain. devkitARM from r26 to r30 and among others also latfat from 1.0.4 to 1.0.7. I didn't change the source code, yet....

Hi,

thanks for your answer. I can confirm your guess. At least as far as I know. I changed the linker option to do a multi-boot image and embedded all graphics and sounds into the file system.

Hi, I cannot initialize the Fat system on my SD card. My hardware is a GBA with a Supercard SD. I have the latest devkitPro and libfat. As long as a multiboot image is linked all works fine!
