the effective minus 0x100 was a typo if i remember correctly

just use %f and it will automatically round it to the nearest decimal.

I just tested this and confirmed it was because AKAIO uses fifo in the gui but not in the loader and it isnt reset (official firmware doesnt use fifo at all), I'd have thought this would have been done startup code but i guess not.
