I've downloaded and extracted the tarball to the correct directory but I still get this error
powerpc-eabi/bin/ld: cannot find -ljpeg

okay, well I've made the deb and rpms before I read this message, however I would love to make deb's and rpm's that run off a script to download and install/upgrade the most current system. Let me know if you want me to create these, should be fairly easy for me

We had a server crash a while ago and we're still in the middle of rebuilding the site, sorry. You're probably best doing a manual install with the binaries. As I've said elsewhere some people have problems with the buildscripts and it takes way too much time to debug these things remotely. http://...
