Re: libwiisprite on github

The habit people have of just dumping all their libraries into the toolchain installation without bothering to talk to anyone needs to stop as well Correct. What do you thing about add: export USERLIBS := $(DEVKITPATH)/userlibs/ppc to base_tools? If a library is not related with the toolchain and i...

Re: devkitPPC release 34

Question: /opt/devkitpro/portlibs/wii is a new directory for users libs and include? No. There should be nothing installed inside the devkitpro folder that hasn't been released by devkitPro. Really? But where I can put libraries like libwiisprite, libml, libgrr and other libraries like these? Why n...

WPAD_Init() has change his behavior?

I test some code in Dolphin (both 4 and 5). I do not know when, but WPAD_Init() has change his behavior. With last version of libogc, buttons are not detected without calling of WPAD_SetDataFormat(). You can try with "template.c" from examples/wii: it does not work. To test it I add a line in the ma...

Re: libwiisprite on github

Several files in there just contain the output of raw2c rather than having them generated at build time which makes it awkward to modify and encourages other people to do the same. Done! Now binary files are in data directory and Makefile was modified to do the dirty work. Loading png files at runt...

Re: libwiisprite on github

If you're going to make this kind of effort (which, btw is appreciated, don't get me wrong here) it would be good if things were updated for modern standards. Several files in there just contain the output of raw2c rather than having them generated at build time which makes it awkward to modify and...
