Re: /c/devkitPro/devkitARM/ doesnt exist

What you're describing makes no sense. You shouldn't get that error with a stock install.

Can you use the uninstaller to uninstall everything then check the c:\devkitPro folder is empty before reinstalling from scratch. Watch carefully for any error messages and report back.

Re: Utilizing DSi Mode

This is really my own weird use case so I don't want to take up your time. Thanks for the help, now I know where to start digging around! Being honest I'd rather you didn't go digging around, I have some tweaks I want to make to dslink anyway that need some careful handling to preserve compatibilit...

Re: Linking problem while trying to port existing project to switch

A lot of work has already been done on Godot, afaik it's working reasonably well.

Re: Utilizing DSi Mode

Runs in DSi mode: Unlaunch > User application Unlaunch > hbmenu > User application If these two work in DSi mode then Unlaunch > hbmenu > dslink > User application should run in DSi mode too. Unlaunch > dslink > User application is likely running in DS mode because dslink has an old style ds header...

Re: Utilizing DSi Mode

I've just started doing some development on a DSi LL, which has Martin Korth's nice Unlaunch V0.8 invoking dslink.nds after boot. I've been basing my experiments on the helpful examples that were provided with devkitPro, such as "hello_world". The archive with Flipnote Lenny contains a recent build...

Re: MakeFile error

Neither DSGameMaker nor PAlib are supported, sorry. Following the instructions in that video will have damaged your toolchain install unfortunately.

Introducing the devkitPro patreon.

Recently it's been becoming more obvious that we're going to have to bring in some more regular income in order to continue providing the tools and libraries you've come to know and love. To tell the truth it's been rather a while since one off donations have even approached covering the costs assoc...

Re: Draw with floats and not s16, draw GX array with one function call.

The triangle example probably isn't the best one to be building off tbh, I'm not sure it actually works properly - it was one of the first experiments and hasn't really been touched in a long time. We have many examples under https://github.com/devkitPro/gamecube-examples/tree/master/graphics/gx whi...

Re: gcube emulator missing?

Do you think it would be possible in the next version of devkitPro to attempt to execute dolphin-emu command instead of the gcube command to avoid misunderstandings? devkitPro is an organisation. devkitPro does not have versions. We produce and maintain a whole bunch of tools & libraries for...

Re: gcube emulator missing?

You're wasting your time. Gcube just about worked well enough to run some old framebuffer based homebrew from the early days of gamecube homebrew, it won't run modern homebrew without some serious work. It still being in the template Makefile is an oversight, sorry. Dolphin works fine, I use it regu...
