Re: Every libnx SDL2 homebrew crashes

I do hate to say this but it works for me. The most likely cause of your issue is that you haven't copied the data files to your switch. There's a basic sdl2 sample at https://github.com/switchbrew/switch-examples/tree/master/graphics/sdl2/sdl2-simple which hasn't yet made it out to a release. That ...

Re: dynamic loading without dlopen?

The short answer to this is you don't and you shouldn't dynamically load executable code at runtime in this environment. Everything is statically compiled so there's no easy way to make it work and you just end up with brittle code that tends to fail when the tools are updated. A plugin architecture...

Re: Yet another compiling issue thread

Ah. I feel stupid, it turns out the order in which source files and library linking arguments are passed to gcc is important. :P Putting the $(STEP1ARGS) and $(STEP2ARGS) variables at the end of the compilation commands (after the source files) fixed the errors I was getting. Sorry to anyone readin...

Here is the simple makefile I'm using (I'm not very good at writing makefiles, so I might have done some things wrong): This is one of the reasons I want to redo the tonc Makefiles as sta...

Re: How to use svcSetThreadCoreMask

Don't try to use svc functions at all. The easiest thing for you is probably C11 threads right now, see https://en.cppreference.com/w/c/thread

Re: Network functions on GameCube

People mostly didn't do much with gamecube network code - the BBA became quite hard to get hold of at a reasonable price thanks to scalpers. I'm not sure how much better it is now, they still seem to be attracting prices far in excess of what I paid for mine new. FWIW I always meant to look at addin...

Re: ./configure for cross compilation

Check what you're trying to compile isn't already supplied via pacman, you can see what we have at https://github.com/devkitPro/pacman-packages/tree/master/3ds or by listing using pacman -Ss 3ds- If it's not already available then install pkg-config & devkitpro-pkgbuild-helpers so you can source /op...
