Unfortunately I don't think any pirate menus can boot homebrew code since we added full DSi support. Not sure if they're mistakenly recognising things as commercial games & trying to install patches or if they patch homebrew. In the meantime hbmenu can and does run on a number of carts so it's w...

Thanks for the donation, much appreciated. Some quick tips. The template makefiles for Wii and Gamecube are deliberately very similar to allow building the same code for Wii & Cube with minor changes. It's mainly swapping include $(DEVKITPPC)/gamecube_rules for include $(DEVKITPPC)/wii_rules in ...

My apologies, that package should probably have been placed in the dkp-linux repo rather than dkp-libs. On my system even --force doesn't allow pacman to overwrite the symlink which I presume is System Integrity Protection in action even though /etc isn't listed at https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT...

It's hard to know what to advise without more information really.

If you want something to backup/restore game saves then https://github.com/BernardoGiordano/Checkpoint/releases works quite well.

Is that what you want or are you asking about saving data for a homebrew app?

For my Pimpmobile music player, I have a TravisCI setup that downloads and installs devkitARM, thanks to the neat automated installer (devkitARMUpdate.pl in my case, as this is for Linux). However, recently, that has started to give a 404. So I went to the download page , to see what's up. Now, cle...

It's probably worth looking at mounting the nitrofs using https://github.com/devkitPro/libfilesystem. It should be relatively simple to add code for it.

As some of you may know already it's my birthday today (June 3rd) and I usually take the opportunity to solicit devkitPro donations. If you like the toolchains and you'd consider buying me a beer if you lived nearby then please consider a donation. The Support devkitPro page has a nice list of (tong...

When you fix your own problem it's considered good etiquette to specify how you fixed it so others can benefit.

The problem was that I was using -F and it gave me this: warning: database file for 'msys' does not exist warning: database file for 'dkp-libs' does not exist warning: database file for 'dkp-windows' does not exist That's not a problem though, that would be the expected output of -F and that comman...
