Request for devkitPPC_r19-i686-linux.tar.bz2 (non-64) binary

Post by spec » Fri Nov 06, 2009 3:17 am

Hello,

Until the recent release of devkitPPC each release also contained a binary build for non-64 linux i.e. devkitPPC_r18-i686-linux.tar.bz2. Release 19 doesn't have that anymore.

Could you please release the non-64 linux binary of devkitPPC 19? (devkitPPC_r18-i686-linux.tar.bz2) It would be great if it would continued to be released in future

Thanks,
Marek

It was mentioned in the announcement that the 32bit linux binary would follow shortly. The machine I was using for 32bit linux died unfortunately so I'm in the middle of setting up another box.

It hasn't been discontinued so don't panic :p

sorry I missed that part of the announcement.

Death of a physical machine is a good time think about going virtual. Virtualbox is a great and mature product and it's free for personal use - it's been running great for me

Sorry, meant to post here when the binary was uploaded - it's been available for a while.

As for Virtualbox - it's not that great for being able to build 4 toolchains simultaneously while still having a machine that's useable for other work :p
