Midi Support Question

Post by kaikyro » Wed Mar 18, 2009 3:32 pm

Hi there,

I'm not entirely sure this is a question exactly relating to maxmod but as its around the same area....

Is there any existing features to support midi files? and if not is this something that’s in the works?

I've just scrubbed up a basic game engine to support a remake of 'Wonderboy - Revenge of the Dragons Trap', and it desperately needs the music to get the feel right, I’m not all that keen on using uncompressed .wav files, but if I have to...

Best Regards,
Kyro

There's no existing midi features, no features in the works, midi is something I have yet to learn! (or perhaps not midi protocol, but how the heck it translates into sound)
