Something simple in GX...

So I just started with devkitPPC and am messing around with some of the examples. I ignore the fact that the nehe tutorials crash left and right; whatever. Anyway, I was messing around with gxSprites and wanted to know how to use multiple textures. Obviously anything serious is going to have more than one texture file. So how do I tell the thing to render a quad with a different texture? Should be simple, right? I want to be able to render quads with different textures, plain and simple... nothing fancy. None of the examples show this being done, and I can't find squat in any kind of documentation or tutorial that explains anything to anyone except those with cyborg brains. :P
