wide mode 3d example is not stereoscopic

Hi,
I just built the examples, and deployed them on my luma3ds patched new 3dsll.
The wide_mode_3d looked the same no matter how I tune the 3d slider.
The little red light above the upper screen was not lit, either.
My 3ds system version is Sys 9.4.0-20J. Tried to update, but couldn't connect to internet.
Anyone run into this problem?

Wide mode disables the parallax barrier in order to use the full set of pixels for a single view - that's how we get 800 pixels instead of 400. It's not possible to have stereoscopic wide mode.
