As we recently learnt, the new version of the Wiimote Plus sold by Amazon since mid-december does not work with (*any*) homebrew app.
The affected wiimotes are revision Z-C4 or C6 as documented here:
http://www.wiihacks.com/general-homebre ... rking.html
I know this issue is not a priority, but based on the number of forum hits (curently above 9000) I'm not the only user suffernig from this problem. It actually seems Amazon has sold thousands of Wiimote Pluses for Xmas 2011.
Also noted is that the Dolphin emulator has been updated to overcome this problem, so there should already be some documentation on what was wrong.
I tried to report this problem in the USBloader GX bug tracker, but it seems they use libogc to read wiimote inputs.
Is this the correct place to post the problem?
Thank you for the great work!
libogc: New Wiimote Plus Rev Z-C4 or C6 not working
Re: libogc: New Wiimote Plus Rev Z-C4 or C6 not working
Does anybody perhaps know if a fix is being developed for this?
Recently lost my homebrew compatible wiimote thanks to my brothers puppy, bought a new wiimote and only then found out about the homebrew incompatibility issue.
