I am getting an error when executing the make file for 3ds

When I go into command prompt and enter "make" to the line I get an error:
make[1]: *** /home/Jessie: Is a directory. Stop.
make: *** [Makefile:165: all] Error 2

I have tried asking around a lot of places but I can't figure out what's wrong... Please help me!
